Leads and participates in implementations at client sites, including pre-installation, configuration, and testing of the solutions deployed by eWS. Accordingly, strong technical knowledge and skills in areas such as database usage, network protocols, or Unix familiarity are required.
Performs project roles including Test Lead and/or Technical Lead; He also participates in pre-sales and requirements definition processes, including customer workshops.
Involves the co-ordination of dependencies and constraints between the eSG development, implementation, test, and support teams.
Is a technical expert on eSG products and solution delivery elements.
Essential skills and Experience
Knowledge & Experience Experience with network and multimedia components in mobile, fixed, or Internet telecommunications environments.
Experience with Unix (preferably Solaris)
Good knowledge of Oracle-specific and/or generic SQL database concepts and operation, including scripting.
Skills Highly effective communication, conflict resolution and people management skills that leads to productive teams and excellent working relationships with all parties.
Take ownership (delivery, interruptions, etc) of issues through to resolution.
Quickly identify, analyse and pro-actively solve problems before they affect the outcomes of projects.
Ability to identify and deliver improvement.
Ability to mentor and develop staff.
Excellent English oral and written communications skills. Particularly in the areas of technical presentation and technical document writing.
Quickly learn and become an expert in new skills and technologies.
Quickly gain credibility and build successful relationships with customers, third parties, and eSG staff. This is especially so at a technical level.
Work effectively with people across multiple organizational, functional, geographic and cultural boundaries, and across a wide spectrum of technical and professional skills.
Work autonomously as and when required.
