Senior Finance & Accounting Manager +- Based in Palembang

Job Description

- Controlling accounting policies and procedures

- Management of budget, taxation and preparation of consolidated Financial and Management reports.

-Supervise an accounting team in Management Audit, General Ledger and Accounting System function

- Ensure compliance of all applicable statutory and regulatory mandates, accounting standards, group policies, procedures and guidelines

- Formulate and implement accounting procedures, processes, systems and internal controls

- Ensure timely and accurate monthly group reporting with full compliance to group requirements and analyze country variations from forecasts, budgets and prior periods to provide accurate explanations

-Control and challenge all investment and cost issues, give full support to all departments on accounting and finance requests

Job Requirements

- Bachelor degree in Accounting

- CPA is an advantage

- Familiar with SAP accounting package is an advantage

- 10 years experience in accounting of which 5 years exposure in management level

- Familiar with IFRS and accounting standards

- Knowledge of cost accounting and cost analysis

- Knowledge of tax regulations and tax planning

- Exposure on budgeting

- Good command of spoken and written English and Indonesia

- Experience in the Palm oil industry is an advantage

- Proactive leadership

- Good interpersonal and presentation skills

- Organized and able to work under pressure with tight deadlines and schedules

- Able to travel abroad periodically
