Head of Controller
Job Responsibilities
-Controlling accounting policies and procedures
-Management of budget, taxation and preparation of consolidated Financial and Management reports.
-Supervise an accounting team in Management Audit, General Ledger and Accounting System
function
-Ensure compliance of all applicable statutory and regulatory mandates, accounting standards,
grouppolicies, procedures and guidelines
-Formulate and implement accounting procedures, processes, systems and internal controls
-Ensure timely and accurate monthly group reporting with full compliance to group requirements and
analyze country variations from forecasts, budgets and prior periods to provide accurate explanations
-Control and challenge all investment and cost issues, give full support to all departments on
accountingand finance requests
Job Requirements
-Bachelor degree in Accounting
-CPA is an advantage
-Familiar with SAP accounting package is an advantage
-Familiar with IFRS and accounting standards
-Experience in the Palm oil industry is an advantage
-10 years experience in accounting of which 5 years exposure in management level
-Knowledge of cost accounting and cost analysis
-Knowledge of tax regulations and tax planning
-Exposure on budgeting
-Proactive leadership
-Liaise with overseas counterparts therefore ability to converse and write in English is a must
-Good interpersonal and presentation skills
-Organized and able to work under pressure with tight deadlines and schedules
-Able to travel abroad periodically
