-- Review and checking daily revenue report, general cashier report and food and beverage sales report.

-- Review and checking account receivable outstanding to ensure that record has correct with GL control accounts.

-- Coordinating with the Cost Controller to ensure that fixed assets has registered and maintained, establishing a system of fixed asset coding and tagging, assisting in inventory counts as per schedule.

-- Assisting in the training of accounting staffs to build and efficient team and taking an active interest in their individual development and welfare

-- Administration of hotel tax obligations, prepare or supervise tax documentation and taxation reports.

-- Maintaining analysis of prepayment and accrual schedules and distribution to correct account by monthly basis.

-- Maintaining and preparing monthly bank reconciliation statements.

Requirement

Financial Analyst & SOA Officer ( BATAM ) - Indonesia

Financial Analyst & SOA Officer ( BATAM ) Post Date: 18 May 09Function:

Set up and constantly perform the financial controlling function as well as SOA framework for the manufacturing local Batam.
Leverage all financial potentials in Batam, for balance sheet, income statement and cash flow.
Be a peer to the Accounting Supervisor in Batam and ensure a stronger Finance presence.


Duties and Responsibilities:

Budgeting / forecasting for entity, including liaison with shareholder / customer including set-up of an integrated budgeting / forecasting process.
Controlling & financial analysis of full financial statements, including cost controlling, manufacturing controlling including productivity and overhead controlling, asset management and Business Improvement Projects.
Handle all commercial / business administration questions, enabling segregation of duties, in ordering, approval of expenses and investments, contract reviews etc.
Set-up and perform Internal Control System (jointly with ICS Officer) and Sarbanes Oxley
Compliance including the role of SOA Officer, regular ICR (Internal Control Remediation) and CCM (Continuous Control Monitoring) follow up.
Review “inbound” guidelines and regulations, external as well as internal, and implement them. Set-up internal rules and regulations, including Limits of Authority, in the commercial and controlling environment and implement them.
Regularly review internal processes and update them.
Drive the SAP implementation for the CO module, including process review, data migration, testing and implementation.
Handle special projects on behalf of CFO / VP Finance.
Regularly liaise with shareholder, for knowledge sharing, including regular trips to Singapore.
Must be flexible to take up all kinds of assignments.


Requirement:

At least 5 years experience in accounting and controlling and controlling in a manufacturing environment, as well as 2-3 years of experience in internal control systems / Sarbanes Oxley Act / process environment.
Must be able to lead medium size projects including other members of other departments and companies.
At least 1-2 years supervisory experience.
Preferable experience in a multinational environment.
