From a technical design and standards viewpoint the RI Indonesia Engineers Team refers to the different global and regional IT teams. In case of the Network Engineer he/she refers to the Telecoms Architecture & Engineering, part of the Cross Regional Services team (CRS) in London, which in turn is part of the IT Infrastructure (ITI) group of Rabobank International (RI). The Telecoms Architecture & Engineering team sets RI global network standards and responsible for providing architectural, engineering and support expertise for the global RI network.
Reporting to the Rabobank International Indonesia IT Manager, the Network Engineer will be responsible for:
Assist, guide and check the deployment and support of Local Area Network solutions based on the Cisco Ethernet Switching product ranges, and F5 load balancing products done by the RI Indonesia network team. Designs will be based on RI standards, and will be fully documented.
Assist, guide and check the deployment and support of Gateway solutions providing access to Bank of Indonesia and various payment and ATM systems relevant to RI business. Gateways based on Checkpoint and Cisco product ranges. Designs will be based on RI standards, and will be fully documented.
Assist, guide and check the deployment t and support of Wide Area Network solutions based on the Cisco product range. Designs will be based on RI standards, and will be fully documented.
Assist, guide and check the deployment and support of VoIP solution based on Tatung FXS/FXO products.
Providing regular performance and availability reports and analysis of LAN and WAN infrastructures. Highlighting to management any issues to be addressed and trends that may have future implications with suggested course of action.
Ensuring that all Networks-related documentation is accurately maintained.
Qualifications:
Knowledge/Skills/Experience Required:Three years experience in telecommunications, focused on design and deployment of Local and Wide Area Networks and Gateways.
Good experience in design and deployment of EIGRP, OSPF and BGP routing protocols.
Good experience in design and deployment of QoS and traffic contracts in LAN/WAN.
Good experience in design and deployment of network interfaces to Layer 3 MPLS-VPN networks.
Good experience in the deployment of VoIP solutions in general, and Tatung specifically.
Good documentation skills.
Hands-on Network Management skills using MRTG or Cacti, NetFlow Tracker, SolarWinds or HP Openview, InfoVista.
Familiar with protocol analysis tools such as Wireshark.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft networking infrastructure.
Good level of English (confident in speaking and writing).
Computing Skills Required:MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
Other Requirements:Good inter-personal skills
Good presentation skills
Works well under pressure
Able to travel within Indonesia
